BOYS LACROSSE
Lower Dauphin 8, Chambersburg 7: The Trojans tied the game 7-7 with 5:49 left, but the Falcons scored the game-winner with just 2:46 left to win the Mid Penn game Thursday at Trojan Stadium.

“We had a great effort, but we had just too many turnovers that led to Lower Dauphin goals,” Trojan coach Paul Flohr said.

Aidan Brechbill and Klein Burkholder each scored two goals for Chambersburg (0-3), while Thomas Elia, Haden Ocker and Ben Melego each hit the net once. Elia and Ocker were each credited with an assist.

Goalie Angel Santos made 10 saves and Eli Kelso led with five ground balls. Lower Dauphin won the face-off battle, 12-6.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Lower Dauphin 19, Chambersburg 2: The Trojans had trouble getting going against the Falcons in a Mid Penn game Thursday.

Ashlyn Bothe and Emma Grimm scored the goals for Chambersburg (0-3). Bothe leads the team with seven goals this season.

BOYS TENNIS
Carlisle 5, Chambersburg 0: The Thundering Herd won all five matches in straight sets to defeat the Trojans in a Mid Penn Commonwealth contest Thursday.

LeShan Wilkinson had the closest singles match for Chambersburg (0-6. 0-3 MPC), falling 6-1, 6-2 to Matthew Presite.

At No. 2 doubles, Ryan Kemerer and Diego Siles dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision to Carlisle’s James Kem and Sean Bergsten.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Chambersburg 3, Carlisle 0: The Trojans won games of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-23 over the Herd in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match Thursday. Chambersburg is 1-1 (1-1 MPC).
