Hershey 20, Chambersburg 4: The Trojans opened their season against one of the top teams in the Mid Penn on Friday and were defeated.

“The team worked hard as a unit to defend against  Hershey,” Chambersburg coach Keara Allshouse said. “I saw major improvements in communication on offense and defense as the game progressed.

“I am happy and proud with the team’s performance in our opening game.”

Ashlyn Bothe scored two goals for the Trojans, as did Emma Grimm.

Allshouse said, “Those were Emma’s first two varsity goals and one was an incredible goal when we were a man down.”
