By Matt Kellam
The Shippensburg Greyhounds held James Buchanan to 5 second quarter points while scoring 20 themselves and raced to a 78-41 victory in a Mid Penn Colonial match up Tuesday night.
Senior guard Adam Houser hit four-3 pointers, all in the first half, to help the Greyhounds increase a 7 point first quarter lead to 22 by halftime.  He finished with 12 points.  Sophomore Collin Taylor led Shippensburg with 17 points and 6 rebounds.  Altogether, 12 different players scored for Shippensburg as coach Ray Staver was able to substitute liberally throughout the game.

Dylan Good was the only player in double digits for the Rockets (4-14, 1-9) with 11.  Daniel Corcoran added 9.

Shippensburg (12-6, 7-4) returns to action Friday night when they travel to Mid-Penn Colonial Champion Northern York for a 7:30 tipoff.  The Greyhounds return home for a Monday night non-conference game versus Dallastown.

NOTE: The game was played in just one hour and 12 minutes and neither coach used a time out.
