GIRLS SWIMMING
Chambersburg 113, Mifflin County 56: The Trojan girls picked up their first Mid Penn Commonwealth victory by swamping Mifflin County, 113-56.

Chambersburg (2-6, 1-5 MPC) got a pair of wins each by Maddie Kinton — 50 freestyle in 26.24 and 100 free in 1:00.79 — and Liz Terrazas, who took the backstroke in 1:05.33 and the butterfly in 1:06.89.

Emma Grove (200 IM in 2:30.04) and Emily Stroble (500 free in 5:56.15) also picked up individual wins.

The 200 medley relay team of Terrazas, Grove, Bree Kratz and Kinton won in 2:02.52, and the 200 free team of Kinton, Audrey Kough and Stroble finished first in 1:54.73.

BOYS SWIMMING
Chambersburg 129, Mifflin County 35: The Trojans had an easy time pushing their record to 6-2 (4-2 MPC) by handling the Huskies on Friday.

Sam Vessah earned two wins for Chambersburg, taking the 50 freestyle in 24.49 and the 100 free in 58.77.

Other double winners were Avery Barley (breaststroke in 1:05.25, butterfly in 52.80) and C.J. Pong (backstroke in 57.10, 500 free in 4:54.86).

The Trojans also had three relay wins. In the 200 freestyle, the team of Vessah, Brenten Boyd, Kaleb Andrews and Michael Johnson finished in 1:43.22, while the 400 free team of Colby Estep, Gavin Vink, Deangelo Santamaria and Johnson won in 3:46.49.

The 200 medley team of Pong, Johnson, Damien Kerani and Andrews placed first in 1:53.77.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Central Dauphin 67, Chambersburg 24: After absorbing a 22-3 blast in the first quarter, it was tough sledding for the Trojans in a Mid Penn Commonwealth defeat to CD.

For Chambersburg (2-14 (1-11 MPC), Ashley Adams totaled 8 points and Madi Flythe added 6.

For the Rams (13-5, 8-4 MPC), Sam Gress and Audrey Weigl each posted 19 points.
