Warfordsburg, Pa. – Southern Fulton (7–3, 5-1 ICC) defeated McConnellsburg (4-6, 3-3 ICC) in a Inter-County Conference matchup Friday night. The Indians were led by Justin Morris with 12 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. Gabe Stotler matched with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block. Josh Stocker added 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Dylan Melton chipped in 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. The Indians led after the first quarter and never trailed. McConnellsburg was led by Dominick Reed with 13 points and 4 rebounds. Spartan Coach Josh Lowery commented, “We had 26 turnovers to their 11. We managed to score one time to their twelve times off of turnovers, which is a recipe for disaster. We simply got to take care of the ball better and score off of the turnover opportunities we make. Getting into foul trouble doesn’t help. We sent them to the foul line 29 times versus us at the foul line only 7 times.” JV – SF 43 MHS 41 (SF – Colby Whiteside – 15 points) McConnellsburg will play Hyndman Charter on Monday, January 14. Forbes Road 64 Fannett Metal 58 OT

Willow Hill, Pa. – Forbes Road (5-5, 3-3 ICC) traveled to Tiger Country and edged Fannett Metal (5-6, 1-5 ICC) 64 to 58 in overtime. The leading scorer for Fannett Metal was Frankie Ryder with 14 points. The leading scorer for Forbes Road was Grayson Hall with 23. JV – FR 50 FM 48. The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday when they host Janes Buchanan. The Cardinals return to action also on Saturday when they host Belleville Mennonite.
