Hollsopple, Pa. Forbes Road (2-4) made the long trip to JCS and downed the Blue Jays 44 to 21 in a non league game. The Cardinals were led by Quincy McMath with 15 points and Madison Hays added 8 points. Cardinal Coach Jamie Gelvin commented, “It was nice to finally start out a game strong. We finished the first quarter with a 15-2 lead and never looked back.  Our girls really shared the ball and played team basketball tonight.  I’m happy with the effort in game one of a four game week.” No JV game. Forbes Road returns to action on Tuesday (1/8) when they travel to Southern Huntingdon for a 6:00 start.
