Maryland School for the Deaf 78 McConnellsburg 45

Willow Hill, Pa. – Maryland School for the Deaf defeated McConnellsburg (3-3) to win the Championship of the Fannett Metal Christmas Tournament 78 to 45. Dominick Reed led the Spartans with a double double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Spartan Coach Josh Lowery commented, “It was a good old fashion butt kicking. They outplayed us in every aspect of the game, putting 5 of their players in double figures.” McConnellsburg returns to action on January 4, when they host Fannett Metal.
