Willow Hill, Pa. – In only their second season, the Lady Indians of Southern Fulton (13-6) not only qualified for District V playoffs but also won their first round game 1-0. Lydia Hiller scored off of an assist from Kylie Golden in the twentieth minute to defeat the hosting Lady Tigers of Fannett-Metal (11-5-1) Wednesday. Goal keeper Bailey Burkett recorded 9 saves to preserve the team-earned shutout. Fannett Metal’s season comes to an end, but in only their second season they earned a playoff spot and won the Inter County Conference Championship. Southern Fulton will move on to the District V Semifinals where they will play top ranked Rockwood on Monday, October 29th, at a site and time to be determined.
