Chambersburg wins by 43: The Trojans posted their lowest score of the season Wednesday at Eagles Crossing, 303, to run away with a Mid Penn Colonial Division match by 43 strokes over Waynesboro.

Karsen Rush shot his second 69 in two days, and he was followed closely by Grayson Hopple with a 75, Spencer Rajtik with a 76 and Jacob Carlin with an 83.

Trojan coach Mark Yost said, “We had a very solid day. It was lift, clean and place, but you still have to get the ball in the hold. Karsen had a lot of birdie opportunities, Grayson and Spencer had their second good rounds of the week and Jacob had a really good round today.”

West Perry’s Ben Smith edged Rush for medalist honors with a 68.

Caleb Reath of James Buchanan took seventh with an 81, Devin Smith of Waynesboro tied for eighth with an 83 and Shippensburg’s Adam Maring tied for 10th with an 84.

Among the girls, Greencastle-Antrim’s Amanda Steier and Ella Lowry of Waynesboro each shot 86.

In the team standings, Chambersburg is 3-0, Waynesboro 24-6, G-A 11-19, JB 9-21 and Ship 0-30.

FIELD HOCKEY
Central Dauphin 9, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans faced one of the top teams in the Mid Penn Commonwealth and were handed a big loss. Chambersburg is 0-3 (0-2 MPC).

BOYS SOCCER
Postponed: For the second straight day, the Trojans were postponed in a game at Cedar Cliff. The rescheduled date is now Oct. 6, 3:45 p.m.

GIRLS TENNIS
Postponed: Rain wiped out Chambersburg’s match at Central Dauphin for the second day in a row, with the new date Sept. 20, 4 p.m.
