McConnellsburg 3 Forbes Road 1

McConnellsburg, Pa. – County rivals met last evening and McConnellsburg (1-0, 1-0 ICC) prevailed in the ICC matchup 3 to 1. The Cardinals(1-1, 0-1 ICC) struck first on a Caleb Voegel goal. The Spartans then scored the next three gals for the win. Landon Seiders, Brady Daniels, and Xavier Buterbaugh all netted goals. Matt Clippinger had 8 saves for the Cardinals while Caleb Strait had 4 saves for the Spartans. McConnellsburg outshot Forbes Road 14 to 2 and had 3 corners to Forbes Road’s 1.
