The first round of the District 3 PIAA Softball Softball playoffs will be held at Norlo Park today (Wednesday May 23) as the # 7 ranked Chambersburg Trojans host #10 Cumberland Valley at 4:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Mid Penn Broadcasting beginning with the pregame show at 4:10 p.m. Direct link to today’s broadcast.

The teams have met twice in the regular season with Cumberland Valley winning 3-2 on April 12th and Chambersburg won 8-3 on May 8th. The winner of today’s game will advance to the quarterfinals and play at # 2 Penn Manor on Thursday. The loser is eliminated from post season play.
