The Greyhounds have not had a successful baseball season but the Greyhounds have been in most games. They pulled an upset Tuesday as they knocked off Spring Grove 9-4 for their second victory of the season.
Ethan Stouffer led the Greyhounds with three hits and three runs batted in. Jake Frey, Aaron Ross, and Christian Melendez each had two hits.
Shippensburg (2-13, 1-9 Colonial) rallied from a 1-0 deficit in the bottom of the first and from a 4-4 tie after the top of the fourth inning. Shippensburg scored five runs over the final three innings for the victory. Scott Witter and Frey combined on the hill for the victory, allowing seven hits and three earned runs. Witter was credited with the victory.
