They put themselves in position to win by heading to the bottom of the seventh leading by one-needing three outs.
Joey Yaukey doubled to plate Braden Petty and the Bulldogs had the chance tow in but Yaukey was thrown out at the plate on a hit by Parker Yeakel.
The Bulldogs put a runner on third in the 8th and the ‘Hounds got a runner to third in the ninth but neither team could score.
The Bulldogs scored the winner on an error in the tenth.
Big Spring improves to 6-8 and 5-3 in the Colonial. Shippensburg falls to 1-10 and 1-8 in the division.
Jake Frey, Aaron Ross, and Nick Weltz each ahd two hits for the ‘Hounds. Scott Witter drove in two runs.
