The Greyhounds have a huge week ahead of them in their quest to grab the Mid-Penn Colonial Division title. They host Big Spring on Tuesday and will play them again on Saturday at Big Spring in the fifth place game of the Bulldog Invitational.

The Greyhounds (9-2, 6-1 Colonial) dropped a 9-6 decision in nine innings to Spring Grove in the opening round after entering extra innings tied at 4. Morgan Fetter bombed a home run and had three hits, Amber Orndorff had two hits and Jessica Lindsay had a double and three runs batted in.

In the consolation bracket, the Greyhounds fought back to edge fellow Franklin County mate Greencastle-Antrim 5-3. They will play the Bulldogs on Saturday in the fifth place game.

Today’s Big Spring game has been postponed until Wednesday at the same time. They will also travel to Boiling Springs on Thursday and host Camp Hill on Friday.
