Chestnut Ridge 13 Forbes Road 1

Fishertown, Pa. Forbes Road (0-3, 0-3 SHL, 0-3 ICC) traveled to Chestnut Ridge and dropped a league contest 13-1 in a 5 inning game. Quincy McMath and Hannah Skiles each had a hit for the Lady Cardinals. Forbes Road is scheduled to travel to McConnellsburg today (April 19) for a 4:30 start.

Fannett Metal 6 Hyndman 5 (8 Innings)

Willow Hill, Pa. – Lynnzie McClure hit a ground ball to the 3rd baseman that scored Jade Rhodes for the winning run in a walk-off Lady Tigers (3-2) comeback win.  McClure also pulled the Lady Tigers within a run in the bottom of the 5th with an RBI double.  After Hyndman took an early 2 to 0 lead in the top of the first, Fannett-Metal tied it at 2 in the bottom of the inning scoring on two wild pitches.  It was a back and forth battle with Fannett-Metal gaining the non-league win.  Morgan Ritchey finished with 3 hits and 3 runs scored while Jade Rhodes collected 2 hits, scored twice, and pitched 5.2 innings before yielding to winning pitcher Kassie Holtry who retired all 7 batters she faced.  The Lady Tigers return to action Saturday at Tussey Mountian at 11:00.
