Thomas Elia scored in the first quarter on a feed from Riley Ocker for Chambersburg (2-6, 1-3 MPC). In the fourth, Jake Gordon scored the final goal. Haden Ocker led in ground balls with 4.

Cumberland Valley 18, Chambersburg 2: The Trojans had a rough night against the powerful Eagles in a Mid Penn Commonwealth matchup.

Hannah Raines scored a goal for Chambersburg (3-5, 0-3 MPC), Mackenzie Miller also scored, while Rachel Dusman was credited with an assist.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Cumberland Valley 3, Chambersburg 1: The Trojans won the first game 25-19, but the Eagles swept the next three (25-15, 25-19 and 25-20) to win the Mid Penn Commonwealth match.

Chambersburg is now 5-6 (3-5 MPC).
