Fannett Metal 3 Hyndman 2

Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (2-3) earned a win today in a non-league contest against Hyndman by a score of 3 – 2 with a walk-off hit by Chase Harrington. Kyler Goshorn gave a dominate performance for the Tigers by throwing 6 2/3 innings and giving up 4 hits while striking out seven. Goshorn was also 3 for 3 at the plate with a double and scored twice. With the score tied in the bottom of the 7th inning, Brandon Winegardner reached on an error by Hyndman and was then advanced to 3rd base on a sac bunt. Harrington then came through with the big hit to drive in the winning run. The Tigers will host James Buchanan on Friday at 4:30.
