The Greyhounds remained unbeaten after their third win in three days as they knocked off visiting Palmyra 10-6 on Saturday.
Palmyra’s Abby Krahling shut down the Greyhound bats early while the Cougars were able to bunch two runs in the second and four in the third inning and grab a 6-0 lead against Greyhound starter Sami Barmont.
The Greyhounds bounced off the ground running in the last of the third inning. They scored ten runs over the next four innings while Emily Wenner came into the circle and shut down the Cougars.
Amber Orndorff led the ‘Hounds with three hits while Barmont and Haile Zullinger each added two hits. Wenner drove in three runs and Jessica Lindsay added two runs batted in.
