Forbes Road 41 Great Commission 33

Forbes Road (5-16) hosted Great Commission and picked up a non league win 41-33. Quincy McMath led FR with 17 points. Maddy Miller added 10. Haleigh Hatfield led Great Commission with 12. Cardinal Coach Jamie Gelvin commented,”We started strong but took our foot off the gas too early and let them climb back into the game. Quincy McMath dominated the paint to secure a victory for us. It was nice to send the seniors out with a win in their final home game.” No JV game. Forbes Road will finish out their season by traveling to Johnstown Christian Academy.

Fannett Metal 64 CVCS 49

In the last game of the regular season the Fannett-Metal Lady Tigers (12-10) hosted the Blazers from Cumberland Valley Christian School and won by a score of 64-49.  The Tigers jumped out to a 21-6 first quarter lead and never looked back.  Fannett-Metal celebrated senior night for their 2 seniors, Ally Hoffmann and Taylor Coffman.  Ally Hoffmann had a huge night with 33 points and she surpassed the 1000 point mark in her career. FM was lead in scoring by Hoffmann, followed by Johns 9 points, Coffman 7 points, McClure 7 points, Bowen 4 points, Rotz 2 points, and Adams 2. The Tigers ended the regular season with a record of 12-10 and await the official pairings of the PIAA District 5 Playoffs.
