Greencastle boys play State College in Mid Penn semi-finals Tuesday

ga mascotThe Greencastle –Antrim Blue Devils boys basketball team finished their regular season of play last Thursday, with  a record of 20-2.  They enter the Mid Penn semi-finals on Tuesday, February 13, playing State College  at 7:30 pm at Cumberland Valley High School.  Doors will open at 5:15.  Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.  No passes are accepted.  Tomorrow’s game will be part of a double-header at Cumberland Valley, with the Shippensburg girls playing Harrisburg at 6:00.  Your admission ticket is good for both games. With a win Tuesday, the Blue Devils would advance to the Mid Penn finals, playing the winner of the Milton Hershey/Hershey game.

State College is in District 6 and won the Mid Penn Commonwealth Division, the Little Lions were 21-1 overall, their only defeat was 75-66 loss to 6A # 1 ranked Reading on January 27.

The Blue Devils are seeded #2 in 5A and will play #15 Donegal on Monday, February 19th in the opening round of the D3 Tournament..  Greencastle will host this game at 7:00 PM.  Doors will open for ticket sales at 6:00.  Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students (K-12).
