BOYS BASKETBALL
Chambersburg 49, Cumberland Valley 44: The Trojans feasted at the foul line Tuesday night and captured a Mid Penn Commonwealth Division victory over Cumberland Valley.
Chambersburg dropped in 17 of 23 free throws — including 10-for-12 in the fourth quarter — while CV was 3-for-6 for the game.
The Trojans are now 15-4 (9-3 MPC) and host Harrisburg on Friday night.
The Eagles were tied with Chambersburg at halftime and trailed by just one point after three quarters. But while the Trojans managed only two baskets in the final period (a 3-pointer by Seth Brouse and a score from Joel Torres), they kept and expanded the lead at the line.
Tyron Williams led Chambersburg with 11 points, while Brouse and Torres each tallied 10.

Cumberland Valley 53, Chambersburg 27: The Eagles limited the Trojans to only eight field goals in a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory Tuesday night.
In addition, Chambersburg (6-13, 1-11 MPC) connected on only 9 of 20 free throws.
Ashley Adams led the Trojans with 8 points and Gabby Lecuona added 6. CV had no player in double figures, but had five players score at least 6 points.

BOYS SWIMMING
Hershey 106, Chambersburg 79: The Trojans were without their top two swimmers, Jacob Greenwood and Avery Barley, who were sick, and were defeated by Hershey in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet Tuesday.
C.J. Pong claimed the only swimming victory for Chambersburg (7-2, 5-2 MPC), in the 100 butterfly, and he was also second in the 200 IM. Nick Cover took first in diving.
Also for the Trojans, Aiden McMillen (100 free), Gavin Vink (500 free) and Michael Johnson (breaststroke) had runner-up finishes.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Hershey 147, Chambersburg 36: A dominant Hershey team took the top three spots in all the individual events except four against the Trojans.
Chambersburg (3-6, 2-5 MPC) came up with three third-place finishes — Abby Reichelderfer (200 IM and 500 freestyle), Emily Stroble (200 free) and Kavia Myers (diving).
