Shippensburg outscored Greencastle in every quarter and defeated the Blue Devils 35-17 at Shippensburg Monday night. Sam Barmont lead the Lady Hounds with 10 points as Shippensburg moved into a first place tie in the Colonial Division with Big Spring improving to 6-1 in the division and 8-4 overall.
Greencastle falls to 4-2 in league play and drops to 6-6 overall. Jordan Yeager was the leading scorer for the Blue Devils with eight points.
The Greyhounds jumped out to a 12-6 lead after the first quarter and lead 23-10 at the half, and outscored the Lady Devils in the second half 12-7.
Shippensburg will travel to Boiling Springs tomorrow night for a 7:30 p.m. game. The Lady Blue Devils will host the James Buchanan Rockets at 6:00 p.m. in the first game of a girls and boys doubleheader at Greencastle.
