BOYS BASKETBALL
Chambersburg 74, Mifflin County 45: The Trojans reached the 70-point mark for the first time this season and handed the Huskies a 29-point defeat on the road, after escaping a home game by one point earlier this season on a buzzer-beater to the same team.
After taking a 22-17 lead after one quarter, the Trojans (12-2, 6-2 MPC) — who have won 7 in a row — gradually pulled away, leading by 11 by the half and 22 by the end of three periods of the Mid Penn Commonwealth game Friday night.
Cade Brindle led Chambersburg with 17 points, including 14 in the first half. Terell Williams popped in 16 points, Seth Brouse added 10 and Tyron Williams and Cota Heckman contributed 9 points each.
The Trojans host Greencastle-Antrim in the final game of the four-game Dunks for Drew showcase on Saturday, at approximately 7:30.

Mifflin County 60, Chambersburg 38: The Huskies’ Eleana Eckley poured in 25 points, hitting six 3s and all 7 of her foul shots, to carry her team over Chambersburg in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Friday.
The Trojans (4-9, 0-8 MPC) fell behind 36-18 by halftime. Ariana Burke was the top scorer with 8 points, while Ashley Adams and Madison Flythe each scored 6.
Chambersburg will face Greencastle during the Dunks for Drew showcase at the CASHS Field House on Saturday about 6 p.m.
