Cole Forrester returned to the Trojan Wars and accomplished his goal. He won his 220 weight bracket and picked up the most impressive regular season Trophy available- a Trojan Helmet, awarded to weight class champions. The only more impressive awarded are District 3  or PIAA state medals.

He lost the finals last year at 195 to Blake Barrick of Big Spring. Barrick repeated this year but stayed at 195 while Forrester moved up a class.

He beat Thomas Mukai of J. W. Robinson (Va.) 3-1 in the finals. He pinned Hunter Moyer of Smyrna (De.) in the semi-finals.

Four Greyhound wrestlers dropped quarter-final matches. Jeffrey Russell (113), Dylan Ramsey (120), Eddie Ocker (160), and Colton Musser (195) each lost in the round of eight to the consolations.

Ramsey fought all the way back to a third place 6-0 victory over Ethan Hardy of Washington.

Russell, Sterling Shetter (152), Ocker, Philip Torres (170), and Musser each lost a match, one match short of the medal stand.

Shippensburg returns to action Thursday when they host Greencastle-Antrim. Varsity action starts at 7:30 PM.
