HANOVER — Chambersburg’s girls basketball team snapped a five-game losing skid in the first round of the Hanover Christmas Tournament on Thursday night, taking a 48-33 victory over Susquenita.
The Trojans (3-5) will face the tournament host Nighthawks (5-2) on Friday night at 7:30 for the championship.
Ashley Adams led the way on offense by scoring 16 points for Chambersburg. Ariana Burke and Taylor Vrabel each totaled 9 points.
The Trojans, who made 17 of 27 free throws, led 8-5 after one period and 19-14 at halftime, then gradually pulled away.
