The Greyhound wrestling team stunned their rivals, the Big Spring Bulldogs as they jumped out to a 17-0 lead after the first three matches on their way to a 50-24 victory.
Colton Runshaw and Jeffrey Russell picked up quick pins and Dylan Ramsey followed with a 16-0 technical fall victory in 5:02.
Hunter Gregorus earned a victory by fall for the Bulldogs but the Greyhounds won the next three matches. Ian Reed worked his way to a 9-6 victory and Aidan Vasquez and Sterling Shetter picked up pins to give the Greyhpounds a 32-6 lead.
Phillip Torres, Cole Forrester, and Tristan Keefer also picked up falls for the ‘Hounds.
Shippensburg is currently 2-1 in the division and overall. They will wrestle in the Trojan Wars in Chambersburg next Friday and Saturday.
