Southern Fulton (1-2, 1-1 SHL) traveled to Chestnut Ridge and picked up their first win of the season. Ava Hull and Kierstyn Morton led the team with 13 and 10 points respectively. Drew Gordon had 9 points and 12 rebounds, Lindsey Hollenshead had 8 points and 7 assists, and Jessie Covalt added 8. Lady Indian coach Meagan Mellott said, “This was a good team win. We shared the ball well and everyone contributed. Chestnut Ridge is a good shooting team, so we had to focus defensively coming out of the half.” The next game for Southern Fulton is on December 19, at Northern Bedford.

The Lady Cardinals (2-0, 2-0 SHL, 1-0 ICC) hosted league foe Northern Bedford and gained a 27-23 victory. Clutch foul shooting down the stretch by Courtney Schoen going 4-4 in the last 2 minutes of the game sealed the win. Schoen led the team with 13 points and Kyra Duvall added 6 points and 10 rebounds. Lady Cardinal coach Jamie Gelvin commented, “Tonight was an intense defensive battle with neither team willing to budge. Both teams played well enough to win. Luckily for us we held on with clutch free throw shooting down thestretch.” Forbes Road hosts Johnstown Christian Academy this evening.

Tussey Mountain 55 Fannett Metal 44
@FM- Fannett-Metal (1-2, 1-1 SHL, 1-1 ICC) fell to Tussey Mt. by a score of 55-44. The Lady Tigers were outscored by a margin of 16-1 in the first quarter. FM chipped away at that margin in the second quarter by out scoring the Titans 17 to 11. However, the Tigers weren’t able to draw any closer. The Tigers were lead in scoring by Ally Hoffmann (12) and Taylor Coffman (12) and in rebounding by Morgan Ritchey (8) and Katie Johns (7). Fannett Metal will next host Southern Huntingdon on Tuesday, December 19.
