The Lady Spartans season came to an end last night as they lost to Windber in the District V Championship game.  With both teams not able to score in regulation or overtime, the game went into a penalty kick shootout.  Kellyn Perry made several saves in the shootout to keep the Spartans alive, but ultimately the Spartans came up just short.  Spartan Coach Chris Mellott commented, “Congratulations to all the players on a terrific season.”
