The James Buchanan Rocket football team will try to regroup Friday as it takes to the road and travels to West Perry to take on the Mustangs.

West Perry (2-4) is coming off a 31-12 loss at Waynesboro while the Rockets (1-5) suffered a 42-27 setback to Frederick (Md.) last Friday.

Top offensive players for the Mustangs are quarterback Dominic Salinetro, running back Kenyon Johnson and wide receivers Joe Reisinger and Terrance Quaker.

Salinetro has passed for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns. Johnson has rushed for 304 yards and 3 TDs. Quaker leads the team with 17 catches for 353 and 3 TDs while Reisinger has 16 catches for 414 yards and 4 TDs.

Last week the Rockets grabbed an early 13-0, but ran what could’ve gone did go wrong in the second and third quarters and gave up 39 straight points.

JB quarterback Sebastian Wise had a career-game throwing for 251 yards and 3 TDs, including 2 to freshman Caden Stoner, who caught 3 passes for 119 yards. Also, Clay Sanders caught 3 for 84 yards, including a 39-yard TD.
