The Greyhounds returned to their winning ways as they used a strong ground game to take down Mifflin County 21-13 at Mifflin County Friday night.
Phillip Torres and Adam Houser each rushed for over 100 yards and Houser added two scores for the ‘Hounds.
Carter Van Scyoc added a touchdown pass to Ethan Stouffer for the other score. Van Scyoc completed 7 of 16 passes for 56 yards and one interception.
The Greyhounds held the line of scrimmage and forced the Huskies to throw the ball to gain any yardage.
Jacob Krepps threw two touchdown passes of 45 and 80 yards to Kross Todaro and Wyatt Henry respectively. Krepps completed 6 of 20 passes for 128 yards and threw one interception.
Shippensburg (1-1 Colonial, 4-2 overall) hosts Greencastle on Friday night as they try to keep pace with Waynesboro in the Colonial Division race.
