The Shippensburg Greyhounds dropped a tough 3-1 decision to their neighbors, the Big Spring Bulldogs Tuesday night.

Alexis Reece scored in the second half to cut the deficit to one goal at 2-1 but the Bulldogs got a penalty kick a few minute slater to tally the final goal.

Kara Newell had an assist while Hannah Pletcher had nine saves in goal.

The ‘Hounds fall to 0-8-1 in the Colonial Division and 1-12-2 overall.

The girls host Waynesboro Thursday.
