The Shippensburg Greyhounds dropped a close 1-0 decision to rival Big Springs at Big Spring this afternoon. Alex Kutalakis scored off a Rachel Schmidt shot with a bit over 10 minutes left in the game. There was some question from the Greyhound side as to whether the goal even crossed the goal line. The ‘Hounds were outshot 12-5 with Dez Neil coming with 11 saves while Bulldog goalie Jamie Yaukey pitched the shut out. Shippensburg falls to 2-3 in the Colonial division and 2-4 overall. They will travel to face Northeastern Saturday at 4:00pm.
