GIRLS TENNIS: The James Buchanan Lady Rockets shut out Trinity 5-0 in a girls tennis match Tuesday.

Winners in singles were Maggie Strawoet (No. 1), Abby Mackling (No. 2) and Amber Clark (No. 3). Winning in doubles was the No. 1 team of Megan Hoffeditz and Ella Jones and the No. 2 team of Lindsey Meyers and Sydney Jones.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: West Perry handed the James Buchanan Lady Rockets a 3-1 setback Tuesday in a girls volleyball match.

Winning game scores by the Mustangs were 25-19, 25-20 and 27-25. JB won a game 25-20. Leaders for the Rockets were Rachel Manikowski (12 kills), Alyssa Blair (10 digs) and Jenna Mongold (14 assists, 3 aces). The Rocket JV team lost 2-1 (25-21, 25-27, 5-15).
