BOYS SOCCER

State College 1, Chambersburg 0: The Trojan boys dropped their season opener at Trojan Stadium in a Mid Penn Commonwealth Division encounter against the Little Lions.

Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said, “Being our first game I thought we did a good job putting ourselves in positions to score goals. Our inexperience showed on a few of the goal-scoring opportunities, where we just lacked a bit of composure. Other than that, I think we have a lot to build on and I’m eager to see what this team can achieve this season.”
