BASEBALL
Greencastle-Antrim 4, Boiling Springs 2: Cam Rakaczewski belted a 2-run home run and earned a save as the Blue Devils beat the Bubblers in a Mid Penn Colonial road win Tuesday.

Jaxson Bostick earned the win with 5.1 innings of 6-hit ball. Rakaczewski threw the last 1.2 innings. Mason Mellott and Bo Brookens collected the other RBIs for Greencastle (4-0, 2-0 MPC).

SOFTBALL
Greencastle-Antrim 9, Boiling Springs 2: The Blue Devils scored 3 runs each in the first and third innings to top the Bubblers on Tuesday in a Mid Penn Colonial home game.

Serena Goodman was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored, Lydia Pryke was 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs, and Kylie Kerns went 2-for-4 for Greencastle (4-0, 2-0 MPC). Kiersten Swain pitched the first 6 innings for G-A, allowing 3 hits, no earned runs and striking out 8.

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
Greencastle-Antrim 86, James Buchanan 64: The Rockets won the track side, 46-41, but the Blue Devils held a 45-18 advantage in field events to defeat JB in a Mid Penn Colonial meet in Mercersburg on Tuesday.

Bailey Hurley won the shot put and discus for G-A (2-0, 2-0 MPC) to highlight the field events. On the track, double winners were Kadence Abbott in the 100 and 300 hurdles and Avery Russell in the 800 and 1600. For the Rockets, Cheyenne Eby won the 100 and 200, and anchored JB’s winning 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD
Greencastle-Antrim 113, James Buchanan 37: The Blue Devils ran their record to 2-0 (2-0 MPC) by defeating the Rockets in a Mid Penn Colonial meet Tuesday in Mercersburg.

Logan Andou won the 110 and 300 hurdles for Greencastle, and Spencer Long took the 100 and 200. JB’s Colton Yeager won the 400, and gave a good chase against Long in the 200 (22.7 to 23.0).
