The Mid Penn Conference has released its winter season list of conference all-stars and team sportsmanship winners.

A total of 14 are athletes were chosen for first team in their respective divisions, Olivia Kearns of Shippensburg was named the  conference’s Wrestler of the Year and Greencastle-Antrim’s Todd Stephens was selected as the Colonial Division’s Coach of the Year.

Colton Cornwell of Chambersburg was picked for the first team in the Commonwealth Division in boys basketball. Greencastle-Antrim placed two players on the Colonial’s first team — Alex Albright and Dez Holman, plus Waynesboro’s Rayshawn Hewitt made first team.

In girls hoops, Shippensburg’s Azula Navarro and ‘Boro’s Breanna McIlquham are on the Colonial first team, and Kendyl Stoner of James Buchanan as chosen for the Capital’s first team.

In boys wrestling, the Trojans’ Frank Barrientos was first team in the Commonwealth, while Ship’s Braden Boardman and Waynesboro’s Steven Howard and Anthony Ausherman were first team in the Colonial.

Reagan Evans and Aulana Stanton of Chambersburg, as well as Kearns, were first team in girls wrestling.

Sportsmanship awards in each sport were also presented and 5 area teams were honored — JB in boys and girls basketball in the Capital; Shippensburg in Colonial for girls basketball and unified bocce, and Greencastle in boys wrestling for the Colonial.
