Shalom Lady Flames win big over York County Day

The Shalom Lady Flames, came out sharp after a 10-day break and rolled past the York Country Day Lady Greyhounds, 49–21. The Flames set the tone early, holding the Greyhounds scoreless in the first quarter and allowing just three foul shots in the second on their way to a commanding 23–3 halftime lead.

York Country Day’s Sydney Williams provided a spark in the third quarter, scoring six of her team-high 13 points, but the Flames’ balanced attack continued to extend the lead. Shalom moved the ball well and consistently created quality scoring opportunities, a hallmark of their unselfish play this season.

Emily Rebok led all scorers with 14 points, followed by Sydney Moore and Harper Adams with 10 each. Addison Adams added eight points while delivering another outstanding defensive effort, and Maya Lehman controlled the tempo from the point guard position with a steady, composed performance.

The Flames return to action on the road against Susquenita High on December 30 at 3:00 PM.
