The Southern Fulton Lady Indians wrapped up their regular season on a high note, defeating Tussey Mountain in straight sets to improve to 13–9 overall.
The Lady Indians showed their strength offensively, controlling the tempo early on. Claire Harvey totaled 13 service points, 10 kills, 2 blocks, an assist, and 3 digs. Bailey Hull posted 11 kills, 3 blocks, 6 digs, and 4 points. Setter Kennedy Hixon tallied 21 assists, 5 points, and a kill.
On defense, Alexis Johnson provided steady play in the back row, collecting 10 digs to go with 5 service points and 2 kills. Kamryn Pittman chipped in 4 points, 3 kills, and 4 digs, while Elsie Murray added 11 service points and 5 digs. Lakyin Hixson contributed 1 dig to the effort.
Southern Fulton controlled the match from start to finish, taking the sets 25–11, 25–16, and 25–18.
Southern Fulton’s JV team fell to Tussey Mountain, 0–2 (13–25, 21–25), concluding their season with a 5–13 overall record.
The Junior High A team traveled to Windber for the ICC semifinal match, where they fell 0–2 (15–25, 21–25). The loss marked the end of a strong season, as the team closed out the year with an impressive 14–5 record.
With the regular season complete, Southern Fulton will look ahead to the playoffs, awaiting their matchup details for October 23rd.
