Southern Fulton’s Varsity volleyball team dropped to 7–6 on the season after a 3–0 loss to Berlin on Wednesday night. The Lady Indians fell by scores of 18–25, 12–25, and 15–25.
Claire Harvey led the effort with 4 service points, 8 kills, 1 assist, and 4 digs. Lakyin Hixson chipped in 3 points, 3 kills, 1 assist, and 9 digs, while Elsie Murray added 6 points, 1 kill, and 5 digs. Kennedy Hixon guided the offense with 11 assists to go with 1 point and 4 digs. Other contributors included Alexis Johnson (1 kill, 1 block, 2 digs), Kamryn Pittman (1 kill, 1 assist, 5 digs), and Bailey Hull (4 points, 2 kills, 2 blocks, 1 assist, 7 digs).
In JV action, Southern Fulton (3–8) fell in two sets, 11–25 and 18–25.
The Junior High A team (9–2) battled in a tight three-set match but came up short, 24–25, 25–20, 13–15.
The Lady Indians will travel to Shade for their next matchup on Monday, September 29th.
