Greencastle stays alive with 5-1 win over Warwick

Greencastle 11-12 stayed alive in the Section 7 Tournament with a 5-1 win over Warwick and will play Dillsburg who lost to Glenmore 4-0, on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at Clary Field. 

Both Greencastle and Dillsburg are 1-1 and the winner will advance to the championship round against 2-0 Glenmore.

Greencastle took a 1-0 lead on an error in the bottom of the first on a Warwick error, then made it 2-0 in the second on a wild pitch.

Brinx Bonillas hit an RBI double to score a run and Ethan Allen followed with a two run homer giving Greencastle a 5-0 lead after three innings.

Greencastle had eight hits including two by Carter Wenger.

Ryan Cordell and Brady Swain combined to allow Warwick just one run on five hits.
