Chambersburg 36, Red Land 30; Chambersburg 40, South Western 30: The Trojans ran their winning streak to 4 matches by defeating the Patriots and Mustangs at CASHS Field House on Wednesday evening.

Red Land held a 30-12 lead with four bouts to go, but Chambersburg (6-4) won all of them to take the come-from-behind win. South Western was ahead 30-18, but again the Trojans stormed back to win the last 4 matches.

Lillybeth Alcantaras scored two quick pins at 235 (26 and 21 seconds) to wrap up both wins.

Chambersburg coach Josh Sherman said, “I am really proud of this team. As a team, our goal has been about growth. These girls are really starting to grow and I truly believe it’s because they are surrendering the outcome and trusting the process.”

Jessica Li (106), Reagan Evans (130), Daryn Glasgow (155), Mackenzie Miller (170), Aulana Stanton (190) and Alcantaras were all 2-0, and Evans and Alcantaras both had 2 pins.

“We had standout performances from Evans and Alcantaras,” Sherman said. “Also super proud of the progress of Daryn Glasgow. She has only been wrestling for about 3 months and she has put together 4 straight quality wins.”

Glasgow had a pin and won by medical default when her opponent was injured with Glasgow ahead 12-5. Hadyn Fritz added a pin in the second match.
