Shippensburg wins Colonial match: The Greyhounds put 3 players in the top 5 Thursday afternoon and handed Northern York its first defeat of the season in a Mid Penn Colonial game at Gettysburg National.

Tyler Fortney of Waynesboro fired a 3-under par 68 to capture medalist honors by 4 strokes.

For Ship, Ben Horgos posted a 72 (2nd), Kaydee Beckenbaugh put up a 75 (3rd) and Jack Johnson shot 78 (tied for 5th).

Greencastle-Antrim tied with Gettysburg four fourth, but lost in a tiebreaker. Camden Eby tied for fifth with a 78, with 3 birdies fueling his career-best score. Bryce Davidson had his second-straight 82 and tied for 10th.

For James Buchanan, Taylor Blair had his best score with a 77 to place fourth and Abram Stock shot 80 to tie for eighth.
