BOYS Southern Fulton went to Fort Hill on Monday evening and dropped a game to the Sentinels 72 to 33.
The Indians (11-8, 4-2 ICC South), trailed 12 to 11 after the first quarter and then got taken out in the final 3 quarters of the ball game.
SF Coach Jeremy Hann commented “We knew what we wanted to do and we did that in the first period. Then, whether it was us just not being able to sustain what we were doing, the pressure they began to turn up, or a combination of the two, we unraveled “
Southern Fulton was led by Hunter Ward with 12 points. Sam Stotler added 11 points. Jett Burger had 5 points, and 7 rebounds. Ethan Mellott had 3 points, and 7 rebounds. Trentin Cain added 2 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Deshawn Brown led the Sentinels with 15 points.
Southern Fulton will travel to Everett on Wednesday night for an ICC South Division matchup.

GIRLS: The Southern Fulton Indians (13-6, 6-1 ICC South) played the Berkeley Springs Indians on Monday night at Southern Fulton. Both teams had 14 points at the end of the first quarter, but after that Southern Fulton held the lead and defeated Berkeley Springs 50-35.
Pittman led with 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 1 block. Harvey had 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Stotler had 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Elder had 4 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks. Johnson had 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal. McQuait had 3 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Indians return to play on Wednesday, February 7 home against Tussey Mountain.
