Southern Fulton girls defeat Meyersdale

The Southern Fulton Indians (11-5, 5-1 ICC South) played Meyersdale Friday night at home. The Indians came out and took the lead within seconds and held it the entire 32 minutes of play defeating Meyersdale 54-21

Coach Wilt said “We came out intense from the start of the game and did not look back. We worked as one unit and the score showed it. We held them to 14 points in the first half and 7 in the second. Our defense was on point. The girls continue to grow each game, and it is very fun to watch them play on game night.”

Stotler led with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 assists. Harvey had 13 points, 6 steals, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Johnson had 10 points, 3 steals, and 1 rebound. Elder had 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 blocks, and 1 assist. Pittman had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. McQuait had 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal. Mellott had 2 points.

Southern Fulton will play Northern Bedford at home on Monday, January 29th.
