Southern Fulton cruises to 59-10 win in Berkeley Springs Holiday Tournament

Southern Fulton went to Berkeley Springs Tuesday night for the first round of its annual Holiday Tournament taking on Legacy Christian Academy and defeating the Saints 59 to 10.  The Indians (5-2, 1-0 ICC South), led 19 to 2 and never trailed in the game on the way to the victory.

Coach Jeremy Hann stated, “We started fast and had an opportunity to work our bench in the game tonight.  They played well and hopefully that is the beginning of the development you want to see”.

Southern Fulton was led by Paul Hendershot with 13 points, and 3 steals.  Gaven Mellott had 12 points, and 6 rebounds.  Hunter Ward had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Jett Burger had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Ethan Mellott had 6 points, and 4 steals.  Austin Mann had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.  Sam Stotler added 2 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

Southern Fulton plays Berkeley Springs, in the championship game, at  Berkeley Springs High School, on Thursday, December 28th at 8:00pm.
