ENOLA — A day after having its best scoring output of the season, the Greencastle-Antrim boys basketball team had its worst.
The Blue Devils simply could not find the key to unlock the lid on the basket. G-A made only 7 field goals in the game, and hit only 4 of 11 free throws, and fell 39-19 to Donegal in the championship game of the East Pennsboro Holiday Tournament on Wednesday night.
The Indians (4-4) did not exactly light it up, either, but a 13-4 advantage in the second period gave them a decent lead, and a 9-4 advantage in the third gave them a 28-11 lead.
For Greencastle (2-6), Conner Wright led with 7 points and Blake Shadoan added 4.
For Donegal, Noah Rohrer was 7-for-7 at the foul line in the fourth period and scored 13 points and tournament MVP Khalil Masten added 9 points.
