McConnellsburg 4 Forbes Road 0

Waterfall, Pa. – McConnellsburg (8-2-1, 5-1 ICC) broke open a close game in the second half to defeat Forbes Road (4-5, 0-4 ICC) 4 to 0. Landon Seiders started the Spartan scoring at the 34:43 mark in the first half. Seiders would score again second half as well. Bryce Kylor and Brady Daniels rounded out the second half, scoring for McConnellsburg. Shots – MHS 16 FR 4. Corner Kicks – MHS 4 FR 0. Saves – MHS 2 (Caleb Strait) FR 2 (Matt Clippinger). Forbes Road Coach Justin Gelvin commented, “We played tough for 62 minutes, then, fell apart.  TheMcConnellsburg midfield did a very nice job controlling the tempo of the game.  Landon Seiders played really well and had two very nice goals for the Spartans.” Forbes Road will travel to Johnstown Christian School tomorrow (10/2) for a 4:00 start. McConnellsburg will host Everett on Thursday at 7:00.
