Hustontown, Pa. On Friday, Fannett-Metal (12-6) swept a double-header from league foe Forbes Road (4-10). Jade Rhodes got the start in the first game for the Lady Tigers and pitched a complete game shutout allowing four singles while striking out four and only walking one.  Six different players had a multi-hit game.  Morgan Ritchey, Jealee Stouffer, and Taylor Coffman each had three hits and Jamie Adams, Kassie Holtry, and Claudia Umbrell each had a pair of hits.  Umbrell knocked in four and Stouffer had three two out RBIs in the game.  Fannett-Metal scored in all five innings.

In the second game, Kassie Holtry got the start and pitched a complete game. Fannett-Metal was led again by Morgan Ritchey, who had three hits: a single, double, and triple, and Jealee Stouffeer, who had three hits and two more RBIs.  Lynnzie McCLure also had three hits and knocked in a run and Jade Rhodes hit a two run homer in the third.

Fannett-Metal has two regular season games remaining on their schedule.  They play Tuesday at Rockwood at 4:30 and Wednesday vs Northern Bedford at 3:00. Forbes Road is scheduled to travel to Hyndman Charter on Monday (5/14) for a 4:30 start.
