Carly Caron’s 2-run homer put the finishing touches on the James Buchanan Lady Rockets’ 12-1 6-inning win over Trinity on Monday in a non-league softball game.

Trinity grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but JB (8-3) scored 12 unanswered runs to pull away for the victory.

Maddie Bailey was 3-for-3 for the Lady Rockets while Kate Ebersole scored 3 runs. Jenna Mongold struck out 6 in her four innings of work and earned the victory.

The Lady Rockets next game is Tuesday at home vs. Boiling Springs at 4:30 p.m.
