Palmyra 3, Chambersburg 2: The Cougars and Trojans played a contest full of close matches, but Palmyra ended up with a non-league win on their courts on Wednesday afternoon.
For Chambersburg (5-3), No. 1 singles player Leah Wadel and No. 3 Olivia Keller produced extended victories. Wadel perservered to win a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 battle over Anna Rashid, while Keller swiped a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 victory over Claire Busher.
At No. 2, Charlie Kalathas suffered an up-and-down 4-6, 6-1, 2-6 loss to Niyta Patel.
Palmyra defeated Gretta Hill and Nina Kuchar 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and took a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 over Sophie Keller and Kendall Temchack.

Cedar Cliff 4, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans hosted the Colts in a non-league game Wednesday night at Trojan Stadium and were defeated, 4-0.
Chambersburg (1-3-1) got 18 saves from goalie Lacey Mooney.
“Lacey continues to have great performances in the cage,” Trojan coach Rachael Sanders said. “It wasn’t the result we were hoping for tonight, but we’re continuing to see improvements from this team and are working to build on those positives each game. We’ll take what we learned from this game and continue to work, improve and build together.”
